2 skeins of Coconut.
1 skein each of Strawberry, Kiwi, and Fruity.
1 skein of Village Yarn dk#3 Basic Boucle, Loam (dk. Brown) 3.5oz/275yd.
Crochet Hook US I9/5.5mm

Stitches and Abbreviations: Ch = chain, FO = fasten off, Hdc = half double crochet, Dc = double crochet, Jwslst = join with slip stitch to top of the beginning stitch,  Sc = single crochet, Slst = slip stitch, St = stitch.

Note: At beginning of rounds, Ch 2 counts as hdc and Ch 3 counts as dc. The hat and booties were made with the small amount of left overs I had using a basic baby hat and bootie pattern and mixing up the colors. You can find patterns at any of the free pattern links on the left.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc 8 times in ring, jwslst, (9 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc around, jwslst, (18 dc) FO Loam, Join Strawberry

Rnd 6: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next 4 hdc, *2 hdc in next hdc,  hdc in next 4 hdc, Repeat from * around, jwslst, (48 hdc) FO Kiwi, Join Coconut
Rnd 7: Ch 2, hdc in same st, hdc in next 5 hdc, *2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next 5 hdc, Repeat from * around, jwslst, (56 hdc) FO Coconut, Join Loam

Basic square off pattern for the rest of the blanket:
Rnd 8: Ch 3, dc in next 12 hdc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next hdc, *dc in next 13 hdc, (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in next hdc, Repeat from * 2 more times, jwslst,  FO Loam, Join Strawberry

Change yarns following the chart below, With established pattern work through Round 36, FO at end. Work rounds by doing 1 dc in each dc on straight sides of square and increase 4 dc on each side by working (2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in each corner space. You can keep going in this pattern if you would like a larger blanket.

  2. Basically I used the Baby Boucle Blanket Set Hat and Booties pattern for the matching Hat and Booties on the Neopolitan Blanket, I sort of winged it, with left over colors from the Neopolitan Blanket. I took the picture and didn't think to write down the changes. Hope this helps. Thank you so much for the comments and interest. I have created several items since my last one, but got waylaid with illness and caring for an aging BFF. Maybe tomorrow??? Birdie
